Can I request the gender of
my therapist?
Yes, but in doing
so you may limit your appointment selections depending on availability.
If I'm late for my
appointment will i get the full duration of the session?
No, to be fair to other clients your session will start and end
when scheduled unless delay is caused by our staff.
Do I have to disrobe?
No. Its your massage session disrobe to your comfort level.
Were can
I schedule a massage?
We will travel to your location. make sure you have
enough room for the therapist to work.
I scheduled an hour massage and
only received 50 minutes why?
Every session starts with a quick consultation
and 5 minutes to disrobe and 5 minutes to dress.
with your 50 minute massage
session your hour is complete.
I have a medical condition can you help
me?
Massage is helpful to many conditions but we are not doctors.
The
Massage Asylum recommends getting a doctor approval before getting a
massage.
Is bruising normal after a deep tissue massage?
Bruising may
occur with deep tissue massage, your therapist should not be trying to
intentionally bruise you.
Will I be exposed?
Draping is required.
only the area being massage should be uncovered.

Does The Massage Asylum donate to charities?
The
Massage Asylum will be attending several charity events throughout the year.
Charities have yet to be decided.
Does The Massage Asylum
attend parties?
Yes, The therapist reserves all rights to refuse massage
services to any party member who appears to be under the influence.
Will
my massage or charts be discussed beyond my session?
The HIPAA Privacy Rule establishes national
standards to protect individuals? medical records and other personal health
information and applies to health plans, health care clearinghouses, and those
health care providers that conduct certain health care transactions
electronically. The Rule requires appropriate safeguards to protect the
privacy of personal health information, and sets limits and conditions on the
uses and disclosures that may be made of such information without patient
